Neodymium-praseodymium (NdPr) metal
NdPr
A key material for advanced magnet manufacturing, NdPr metal is alloyed with iron, boron, and other elements to produce NdFeB magnets - the most powerful and efficient magnets available today. This essential input drives an array of high-performance applications, including electric vehicle motors, wind turbines, and industrial robotics.
Chemical composition
Formula: Nd + Pr (didymium metal).
Composition ratio: 75% Nd + 25% Pr by weight, the same 3:1 ratio as the oxide it is converted from.
Purity: The metal conversion process consistently delivers purity levels at or above 99% NdPr/TREM, meeting the stringent demands of high-performance magnet manufacturers.
