Heavy rare earth concentrate (SEG+)
Heavy rare earth concentrate (SEG+) contains an array of medium and heavy rare earth elements vital for advanced material applications. Produced as a solid oxalate or oxide powder, this basket product provides a flexible foundation for downstream separation and refinement, enabling the development of cutting-edge technologies in energy, aerospace, electronics, and beyond.
Chemical composition
Formula: mixed rare earth oxides and oxalates - Sm2O3, Eu2O3, Gd2O3 plus Tb, Dy and Y.
Composition ratio: the middle rare earths (samarium, europium, gadolinium) plus the heavy rare earths including terbium, dysprosium and yttrium. Element ratios vary with the ore source and are quoted per lot assay. Typical, varies by lot.
Purity: Approximately 4% dysprosium (Dy) and terbium (Tb) on a total rare earth oxide (TREO) basis.
